Promotional water bottles are excellent free gifts to offer your clients. Promotional water bottles are practical gifts that clients can use all the time, and if you stamp, emblazon, or engrave your name upon them you’ve got a way of keeping your name constantly before the clients you give them to. Just make sure your promotional water bottles are BPA-free. (Sure, it may be just a myth about BPA…but then again, if you show consideration for the concern, you’ll be more highly thought of by clients.)
But along with your water bottle promotions, why don’t you also give your clients something else of great value for them to use? Why not include some cards that include a few bits of tips and wisdom that they can apply to their business travel? Water bottles spell “on the go”, and so allude to travel. The question is, what business travel tips could you include? Let’s look at a few suggestions.
1) Get enough sleep. Sleep’s not for the dead, it’s for the living, rather like life insurance. If you are going to travel into a different time zone, plan your flight or train in accordance with your local area sleep time. So, if you live in Wisconsin and you’ll be traveling to New Jersey, you’re going to “lose” an hour. Plan around this. And get enough sleep no matter what (6 to 8 restful, undisturbed hours each night).
2) Get enough water. The 64 ounces of water per day thing is probably an exaggeration, but there is one thing you know to be true: if you’re thirsty, you need water. Try to drink only filtered water. Try to find water to drink that has been filtered by reverse osmosis processes. And try to keep your liquids mostly to water. Go sparingly on sodas or sugary punches or even iced teas. Go for the Don Perignon mineral water if you must.
These two ideas are only starter ideas. Include them or other ideas in your water bottle accompanying cards or notes.
