Have clients who confide in you that they find it hard to manage their time well? Use some wit and offer them promotional clocks. Promotional products are always effective at retaining clients and getting referrals, and the time-stressed with appreciate some sleek promotional clocks.
But…there’s something else you can do. When you give them the clocks, include some free advice on a piece of paper with some tips on how they can better manage their time to increase their business or profits. Let’s look at a few tips you could include.
1) Figure out who your preferred vendors are, and start exclusively working with them. You can easily identify what they can do for you, so you can place new orders quickly. Vendors with whom you have good relationships often do extra leg work for you with your own clients, too, saving you even more time. Don’t be afraid to trim the fat and stop doing business with vendors who aren’t “all that”.
2) Turn that crazy bird around! You don’t need to fly, or travel in any way, nearly as much as you used to in business today. There’s Webex. There’s Skype. Why go anywhere? Save time and money by mentally traveling via the Internet.
3) Kick the whiners to the curb. If you have noticed clients who constantly change their orders at the last minute, need their hands held through every little transaction, or give you lots of barely-profitable orders, they probably should just be let go. They’re costing you time needlessly, and time is money.
Alright, so. When you’re giving out your promotional clocks to your good clients, give them some knowledge, too. Trust us, they’ll be even more impressed.
