Sure, the employees are still important..and so are the clients and customers. But with the holidays over, and you just beginning to plan for the New Year and all of the potential growth it holds maybe it is time to take a few moments, breathe and think of how you can encourage yourself.
Twenty years ago the new idea of Dress for Success was everywhere. Power ties, power jackets, power underwear…
O.k…maybe not power underwear..but the truth is that everyone was creating themselves. They created the look and then grew into it.
It still holds true. Your clients and employees alike will tend to see you in the same way as you see yourself. Walking with head held high, dressed in well fitting clothes and looking good not only gives you confidence, it gives others confidence in you.
Using good tools for your business is good for it and good for you. Sure, you can keep your mileage records in a spiral notebook but it just feels more professional to pull out a leather bound book to record it, doesn’t it?
If you have business cards in a jumble in the top drawer of your desk or your pocket consider a leather business card case. It looks professional and keeps your cards neat and clean.
Consider carefully how you come across to those that you interact with everyday and spend the first week of the year reinventing yourself.
2009 will be your best year ever.

I just loved this post on making sure you think of your self for a change not many bosses do that in fact most of them put their staffs thoughts ahead of themselves. Even though I am not a boss, or someone that is out and about see clients I have to say that I just love this organizer its just wonderful.
