Biz Journal has a list of the Ten Worst Holiday Gifts.
From rotten fruit to monogrammed items, see what they say are the worst.
AOL has a long list of some of the lamest gifts on the Internet. Funny, as long as they are found under someone else’s tree and not yours.
Bottom Line Vine lists the absolute worst workplace gifts.

Getting a holiday business gift for a co-worker or employee is not that difficult. Think outside the box. If it is someone you know well try to remember conversations for clues to what they might like. If you don’t know them well then talk to someone who does. If you know that someone is interested in wine then there are many wine related gifts that you can find that they may like. Gifts of food are nearly always welcome as long as the food basket is high quality. Always buy from a reputable company or, like some of the recipients on the lists, the person may end up with rotted fruit or stale cake.
